Venting is tricky, because there are many fields of thought on which venting products should be used, how many and where to install them. The most important thing for a homeowner to know starting out is that keeping your attic cool, dry and mold free is vital. Which product you use to achieve this is up to you and your roofing contractor.

A qualifed roofing proposal will address venting, but you have to be home for the roof inspector/estimator to do his job correctly. Make sure you fully understand how your new roof is going to breathe.
