There is a lot of talk surrounding the installation of Continuous Ridge Venting… and probably for a good reason. Roofing manufactures are pushing for better roof attic ventilation and often their warranties are dependent upon a venting standard being met.

The picture above shows the typical coninuous cut made along the peak of the roof for airflow and receiving the vent. It may not look like much, but it would take approximately 12-15  standard vents to provide the same amount of venting area.
