Each contactor in Oregon is assigned a CCB# that can be verified with the State of Oregon online or by phone as to whether the roofing contractor is current and incompliance with the State and its regulatory requirements.

If you hire someone without a legitimate and current Construction Contractors Board number, forget about all the insurances and regulations to protect and guide you. You hire an unlicensed contractor, you now become the employeer. Make sure you have all the necessary licenses, regulations, warranty requirements, insurances….. to run a construction company.

The point is obvious – it is expensive to run a roofing company but hiring a legitimate  company protects you and your assests
